Umpqua Roofing Co., Inc. specializes in Single-ply, Built-up, Coatings, etc. roofing systems as well as waterproofing, but welcome workers that are well rounded in all types of construction.
Apprentice Commercial Roofer
Starting at $23.65 per hour along with a
Company Paid Benefit Package of $13.10 per hour.

Job Description:
An apprentice commercial roofer who works solely on installing, maintaining, replacing, repairing, and restoring the roofs of commercial properties. These are typically larger scale buildings. As well, Umpqua Roofing installs waterproofing.
Typical duties and responsibilities include:

Installing roofs for commercial buildings using various materials
-
Ensuring all projects are completed within a timeline
-
Working as part of a team with other construction professionals
-
Using hand tools and other equipment (scaffolding, ladders, etc.)
-
Lifting, transporting, and installing heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally
-
Standing in as a fall monitor
-
Adhering to company policies
-
Performing work in accordance with job specifications and safety regulations
-
Keeping the construction site clean

Trainability

Must adapt to Umpqua Roofing’s quality of roofing standards
-
Must be able to use a tape measure
-
Must be comfortable climbing ladders, standing, walking, and kneeling on various roof heights
-
Must be willing to adhere to company safety policies and help maintain a safe work site.

Be able to work with other trade, general contractors, and fellow roofers.

Valid Driver’s License or ID
-
Company paid drug test required
-
High School diploma, GED, or NCRC Testing
